How far in advance should I request a booking?

During peak seasons (autumn, winter and spring months), it is best to book at least 3 to 6 weeks in advance. For long weekends, we recommend booking even earlier. We try to accommodate last minute requests the best we can, but these requests are subject to our booking availability.

RENTALS

I don’t have a bar counter, special equipment and glassware the venue I am hosting an event at, what can I do?
We can organize a full on site-bar including all the necessary equipment and glassware. Please inquire.

TASTING

Do you offer pre-event cocktail tastings?
Yes we do a cocktail pre-tasting, but it will be for an additional charge.

STAFFING

Do you supply a professional and experienced staff?
Each Go Bar employee undergoes an intensive interview and screening programme, 
focused on customer experience, style bartending and service excellence.

How many bartenders do I need for my event?
Go Bar works on an average of one bartender for every 30 guests.

Why do I need to hire an additional staff (waiters, bar-backs)?
Realistically a successful event requires the appropriate staffing. Without it – guests feel ignored, the room looks messy, and the general flow of the evening is non-existent.
We work hard for you, to make sure your event is a full success. It is best to talk to us about your concerns to fully understand the big picture.

Who controls stock?
Every function has a manager or a head bartender who controls stock, manages all barmen and oversees support staff.

I have a favorite cocktails recipes I don’t see on your menu, can you make it for my event?
We would love to. Our goal is to design a bar menu that fits with your vision, and equally to ours. Please inquire.
